I've been spending a lot of time in the studio. That sounds familiar, huh? I think the album is almost done, though, so I should have a little time off before I have to go on tour.
That's going to be.. what if I'm just not going to think about it

Have you ever noticed that a new song will pop into your head at the absolute worst times? There are just some times and places where you can't stop to write it down, but inspiration seems to have a cruel sense of humor and pop up right then.
Seriously, brain, what is up with that? You need to learn better timing.

I've been practically living in the studio lately. It's productive time, but I think I'm starting to forget what the outside world is like.

Work work work. You know, I thought I'd have some down time when I got home from the tour, but they've had me in the studio non-stop working on things. I swear, I've forgotten what my apartment looks like because I keep going to Owen's to sleep. His bed has this nice thing where he is usually in it and it's cozy. The album is coming along nicely, though, I think. And apparently I'm allowed to actually have a life this weekend, since it's 4th of July and all. That'll be nice.

I've missed Owen LA. It's good to be home. It's a little weird having spare time and even weirder being paid to make music rather than wait tables, but I have to say it's a good change. I had a freaking blast touring with Highway 21, too. I missed home and I missed my friends, but it was definitely the experience of a lifetime.
Things with Owen.. I don't know. I certainly haven't lacked for inspiration when it comes to writing lately. I missed him. I missed him so much. I love him. With everything we've been through, I just don't know if that's enough.
